Texas Pecos Trail

50th Anniversary Caravan

- May 10 & 11, 2019 -

Experience the Legendary Wild West!

The Texas Pecos Trail Caravan is for all adventurous Texans. When the Pecos Trail was founded in 1968 by Governor John Connally and the Texas Highway Department (now TXDOT), the governor, his wife, and an entourage of state and regional officials drove the entire trail in two days time! In honor of the trail's 50th anniversary we'll be replicating that caravan drive in early May.

You can expect stops at a variety of historic sites, visitor centers, and museums, and along the way we'll enjoy local cuisine that will bring your taste buds to life!

Get a group of friends together, gas up your car or motorcycle and travel the trail with us - for just a 20-mile leg of the trip, a full day or the entire journey!
